Easyscriber on Flashcut software with Hypertherm 85

Post by Metal Bender »

Hi,
Trying to set up an Easysriber on a table using Flash Cut controller and software . Fast Cut 4x8 Icon , Hypertherm Power Max 85 plasma .
It will drag around and make lines satisfactorily for my purpose (marking bend lines) . Problem is it never raises up between cuts , holes etc.
Never see the Z axis move or jog . Have watched all the you tube videos ,tried combinations of different setting ,seem to be missing something .
Any clues would be appreciated . Hope I am asking correctly ,enough detail . This is my first foray into a forum .

Thanks Metal Bender

You should be able to set your tip at cut height setting Z below the sheet .010 and uncheck touch offs. You can also trick it into thinking there is an arc ok.
