I work as an artist and build and run CNC machines as a hobby and to build my art.

My latest build is a Plasma machine, 25 years after my first CNC that was also a plasma cutter.

Welcome aboard, Many DIY type here so you will fit right in. Lots of great project files to download or use the search function to look around. I have built a few CNC table myself so I understand the joy in the process. Does you art fit a category or are you a free spirit and just follow how the wind blows each time. I mostly do female figurative works in welded steel but want to use my plasma cutter to do some large scale public art projects I've been thinking about.

Yeah, kinda a free spirt with a job.
I built my plasma cutter because I needed a project to use my homebuilt CNC mill.

One of my SOMEDAY dreams is to build at least ONE giant wind art sculpture that would become a local landmark. Look at the work of Anthony Howe Wind Sculptures on You Tube. I can build them. I just have no help here. I am a one-man show, and sadly, I am getting older, slower, and more cantankerous with each passing day.
