Welp.. I run the friction crane/cherry picker for an company that builds chemical barges.
The burner tech became sick and my company was in an pinch.
I was promised the world by the owner!
I have a lot of respect for you CNC vets.

Hey yall, how yall doin'?
Ill try to keep the story short.
Hired by my company to operate the cherry picker/friction crane.
The owner comes to me one day and says, "My shop guy has me by the balls! He has covid and is going to miss some time. Hes old, what if he drops dead? I would be screwed, so I was wondering if you wanted to operate the burner machine? After a couple of months, Ill move you back outside to the crane."
Long story short, the old man quits due to health reasons. I was promised the move to the shop would only be an temporarily move. (Ill hire somebody and just stay over there to train him) The owner missed his true calling guys... He should've been a car salesman!
All well, I still run the cranes sometimes. (Oh how I miss thee)
CRAPPY short version of the story!
