Hi I'm new to this forum, I'm a welder by trade. I'm in the process to build a 3'x4' plasma table with a Powerplasma 52i.

Will be running linuxCNC, I have Mesa board 7196 and a THCAD-5.

This place seem to be full of good folks with lots of knowledge !

Welcome aboard many DIY types here (me too), it seem many are going the LinuxCNC route so questions will get answered
If you going to have a THC you may want to order another THCAM card, so use a 5 and others are using a 10 dependent on the voltage divider ratio you have.

Are u in BC per chance?
I built my table too and am in the process of converting to Linux . You will find lots of help here.
