loving all the shared files

Been using a plasmacam, but am now starting to cut on a burntable. Running into software incompatibility, as I used Inkscape to create lots of dxf files. Will just take time to figure out how to get software to work.....as I had to do before.

Answers can be had if asked and supplying what area you are have problems with (file types, conversion issues).

When I try to open dxf files in hycad, all that shows are a few little lines and points, not the whole file. Help!

Not all software will interpret dxf files the same. You may want to try Inkscape if your hycad doesn't like the dxf's. Good luck

Thanks, I created the dxf files in inkscape, but need them to open in hycad, as that is the software I need to use for burntable. They open perfect in inkscape, but just a few lines and points in hycad.

I may need to convert the files to earlier inkscape version??? I don't know how to do that....can anyone help? Thanks

Have you tried "Cloud convert" Also QCAD (free download) has a few formats you can save that may open in hycad.
