Hi everybody, I'm in North Carolina Homebuilt CNC

Post by Tristar500 » Wed May 24, 2023 9:43 pm

Greetings everybody and fellow machinists, plasma junkies et al.

I work as an artist and build and run CNC machines as a hobby and to build my art.

My latest build is a Plasma machine, 25 years after my first CNC that was also a plasma cutter.

Looking forward to comparing notes and learning from the flock!

Cheers!

Cool clip art!

I mostly do female figurative works in welded steel but want to use my plasma cutter to do some large scale public art projects I've been thinking about.

Yeah, kinda a free spirt with a job. :HaHa
I built my plasma cutter because I needed a project to use my homebuilt CNC mill. :HaHa :HaHa

One of my SOMEDAY dreams is to build at least ONE giant wind art sculpture that would become a local landmark. Look at the work of Anthony Howe Wind Sculptures on You Tube. I can build them. I just have no help here. I am a one-man show, and sadly, I am getting older, slower, and more cantankerous with each passing day.
