Millner-Haufen drill bits and cutoff wheels

Post by bLouChipBlacksmith »

I saw a demo of these https://millnertools.com/ products at the PRI trade show yesterday. Very impressive, but so is the price, although the show price was a nice nearly 50% off given all the extra bling thrown in with a purchase. The company says to have been around 15 or so years, and has an unconditional guarantee to replace wornout or broken bits and saw blades. Seems like the real deal, demo materials were stainless steel (304) blanks and real deal hardened chisels and files, grade 8 bolts, you name it. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with these bits and saws. thanks.

Used one like that at a buddies mechanic shop cutting off some exhaust. It worked well, didn't cut as fast as a standard cut off wheel would, but no real chance of it exploding like a regular cut off wheel often does which is nice.
