So, did you cut out the design, paint, then insert back into it's cutout spot for engraving? or how are you holding it still after painting for the engraver?

Amazing work, would you please enlighten us on how you created this, I do not own a scriber or engraver but have been contemplating on the idea to get one, maybe if you can describe the process that you followed to create this for us that have not done this, By the way, love that bird, it has got some "ATTITUDE", remind me of some "FLYBOYS" i know
