Tactical Seat
Here's a little project that I've been planning for some time. I finally got around to put my ideas together and banged out this doozy.
I'm hoping that this baby can let me quit my day job.
Hopefully and can complete the upholstery and padding this week. Stay tuned...

Re: Tactical Seat
That's pretty cool! The tactical crowd is all about accessorizing though. Do you have plans to add options like MOLLE, picatinny, key mod or Mlok attachment points for holsters, mag carriers, remote control holsters, beverage holders, etc...?
I think I'm the oldest 10 year old boy on the forum...

I put extra holes for the accessories. I will have the joystick/throttle/HOTAS bracket options done soon. I should add the cigar ashtray.Scratch wrote:That's pretty cool! Re: Tactical Seat
Here's the latest update:
- I added some length on the arm rests.
- got the cushions upholstered
- logo is embroidered
- serial number tag 00001
I started on 00002. This one will be powder coated in olive drab (army green). Stay tuned...

Re: Tactical Seat
Very fine job! Be proud of that one...
I could see myself sitting there...strap on the helmet...and light up Torchmate cad!!
Now, any of you pros help me upgrade to full HUD? Eye/cursor integration?
One issue though...Blown right speaker....seems to be a wattage difference between aircraft comms systems and home stereo systems. Who Knew?
**For historical accuracy**

Re: Tactical Seat
Very nice! Thank you so much for the compliment. I'm working on a more "gamecentric" ejection seat now. Stay tuned.... it's gonna be a few more weeks. I will call this one the TacSeat Mark2. It should have the mounting plates for the Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS with lots of adjustments.ben de lappe wrote: ↑Sat Jan 05, 2019 1:30 pm Very fine job! Be proud of that one...
