Burntables

Post by SRP3951 »

Has anyone purchased the verticle plasma from them? If so what's the pros and cons? How is their quality? Quality of parts produced?
Thanks in advance,
SRP

Do a Google search for Burntables. Very poor option, IMO. Look into Starlab, Westcott, LDR Motion, Arclight. All are solid tables. Burntables has a very poor reptuation.

Wescott just got sued by Plasmacam for selling unlicensed copy of their software, and they were found guilty.

Westcott plasma and plasma cam reached a mutual settlement in the matter. As for the incorrect statement made by "metriccar"
"Wescott just got sued by Plasmacam for selling unlicensed copy of their software, and they were found guilty" IS NOT CORRECT
Westcott never sold, solicited, or offered for sale un-licensed copies of plasmacam Design Edge software to anyone. All this was proved to plasma cam and which was why the case against westcott plasma was dismissed with prejudice. As for other parties involved I can not speak for them as It did not involve Westcott Plasma.
Thank you,

Actually, to clear the air here it wasn't "Westcott Plasma" but Westcott BBQ Grills, LLC according to court documents filed on 5/14/2018... Brief details in the link below along with summary of judgement and order granting stipulations with access to court documents as well..

https://unicourt.com/case/pc-db1-plasma ... -al-463834

And to clear the record I'm not taking sides with either company although I operate two PlasmaCam AHC table systems and three software seats, one of which I haven't been able to use due to the constant overreaching security patches put forth in recent PlasmaCam security updates.
You marry into the PlasmaCam family and must accept the fact your software and hardware are proprietary. It's a for better or for worse engagement with overwhelming security. PlasmaCam controls the computer, table, hardware to their advantage IMO. :x
