So i pulled the trigger

Post by Joe243672 »

So i pulled the trigger and purchased a new candcnc blade runner g5 package with all the bells and wistles. Also bought a gantry kit through precision plasma and cutting edge plasma. Just waiting for everything to arrive so i can order steel and build a 4x8 with water table. Only question i have is what homing switches do you guys recommend. I thought the candcnc came with them. They do but only for z axis. nothing for table. If im spelling it right david from candcnc recommend moujen switches.. Problem is i dont know what size or kind to get. Any help would be great. I have a crossfire plasma table now and all though it is a good little machine for small stuff it lacks alot of stuff i will have with new table. Also i have a hypertherm pm 85 with cpc and rs485 running a machine torch.

Also thinking of putting a cutzilla air scribe on plasma build. I talked to josh the owner and he said he doesnt know if it will work with c and cnc. that once i build i have to determine there signal for scribe power wise and he would let me know if it will work. if anyone has any info to add on that i would appreciate it.

I have an air scribe. Just run the air valves off of one of the accessory outlets.

Sounds like you are in for a rewarding job!
Switches
Or anything like that. That is the style i used, you can buy those huge ones with adjustable levers but these take less space
