Jesus cross modern

Post by DXF »

Click on this link to find some nice svg files. Made this one a little more plasma friendly.

http://123freevectors.com/category/religion/

I use Corel DrawX5 and Plasma Cam. Here's how:

Down load the file you want and then unzip it.
Open Corel Draw - file - new - ok
View - wireframe
File - import - import the file (EPS, SVG, or AI)
File - export - export as a dxf file
Import the dxf file in to Plasma Cam

You're welcome everyone and thank you to whomever designed this. It's one of the nicest depictions I've ever seen of the crucifixion. The cross behind will be powder coated in copper vein and the Christ will be silver vein.

I tig weld tack SS 10-32 nuts on the back of Christ. Burn holes in the back plate and locate where to weld nuts on. Then I use short 10-32 SS button head screws to hold it together.

Thanks,, to date I only have been cutting aluminum.. Don't think I can tig stainless to alum?
Some 3M fender epoxy would withstand the cure cycle though..

Had another thought I may be able to make an aluminum nut and tap it out to 8/32 and tack it!! Hmmmm may work

Wanted to thank you again for the file and post a picture. We did the back cross in copper and torch and the front cross just in copper. I think it turned out pretty nice.
