2mm st/st circle cut problem , jim ;-))

Post by Skinnedrabbit »

Hello,
Just got a job in for 200 no. 342mm circles in 2mm gr 304 st/st .I just done a couple of test cuts and starting at 7 0clock with the lead in .Im using the recommended setting from the hypertherm list but and have the pmax 45 with machine head ect . From 7 to 2oclock , all is fine , but them the cut doesnt penetrate the plate fully for some reason until around 5oclock . By this time the nozzle is getting wrecked .Am i missing something basic here .Ive checked peirce heights amps at 120 , cut height at 1.5mm .i cut some 6mm st/stwall plates just before and they all came out really nice .I did try slowing the cut speed back in 10% increments , but this didnt help .
Thanks in advance
Rob

Think I've got to the bottom of this and other problems I've been having . Found the switch offset set to zero in the post processor in sheet cam . Fingers crossed ))
