New version Bezier Tool

Hi All,
I've been away for a while but, I'm now back and getting back into things.
I have just updated my laptop and downloaded the latest version of inkscape and it seems they have changed the Bezier tool. It appears you click and drag now, Is there a way to change this because I'm thinking this way will be less precise for manual traces.

I am using 1.2 version and it works the same. If you click and release to start a line and move the mouse it makes a straight line until you click again.
If you hold the mouse button down and move it will make free hand shapes (not straight). Right click ends any drawing at that point, join the starting point and click will close the shape.

Ah thanks for that. Ive been away from it for nearly a year and just couldn't work out the new one but obviously it was operator error LOL

Another option is the "Draw freehand lines" tool. You can adjust the "Smoothing" value to suite your needs.
