I don't remember what it said when I bought license , can I use it on two computers ? Sure would be nice to have it on my laptop !

I think that is correct, but that means in one location, not to your buddy's computer in the next state.

Please note that this license is for ONE computer only. Using it on multiple computers could result in the license being permanently disabled.

I asked Les about this in the past, and he seems to be pretty flexible on allowing you to use it on a table computer and a design computer at the same time. You could email him and ask him yourself make sure.

I'm afraid too many people took advantage of my offer of using the license twice for hobbyists as permission to run many copies.

As a workaround the demo version of SheetCam which you can download from the SheetCam downloads page will allow you to create big setups and save them as a job file (File->save job). You can then load that job file into your licensed version to post process.
