Question about degrees and angles

Post by topkote »

Is there a way in Inkscape to take a horizontal nature scene and make it into a stairwell panel so that the items in the scene itself remain vertical? I think you'd have to start from scratch. Am I correct?

I don’t think that would be too difficult. If the scene has a frame or border around it already you will want to break the nodes where the frame connects to the interior scene and delete that frame. You can then draw a new frame the size and angle you need and weld the scene into that frame in Inkscape leaving the interior scene vertical.

I'm guessing you want to skew the scene so it will fill the area between 2 posts rather than just have a level edge of the top and bottom. No idea if this can be done or not.
