Need some help-62 Vet

Post by BAC42 »

Hi guys, I haven't got this Coreldraw X6 figured out yet. I'm trying to make 2 parts for a 62 Vette, I have 2 pics I'm trying to get ready to cut but no luck, if someone could give me a hand with them I'd be a happy camper.
Thanks, Bill

I can help you but I need some reference dimensions in each picture so I can import it into my CAD program. Do you want it exactly as the template (first picture, it is not very symmetrical) or do you want one side and then mirror other for symmetry?

Let me know what dimensions you need. That first pics a tranny mount and it's modified to fit a custom frame so it will be cut as is, the other is a backing plate for a headlight bucket.
THANKS, Bill

Thanks Gearhead, they worked out great, when I opened the 2nd pic in plasmacam it was over 2 ft all I had to do was resize it to the 13.5 I needed and it waS fine. All I have to do now is get this working right, I think I finally the height adjustment setup. I've been dry running it to test, I just went to cut it and the touch won't turn on, I can do a dianostic and it fires OK but will not fire when I try to cut.And the problems keep going, the last week and a half had to replace the computer and PCI card, couldn't get that to work, had to take it back and the replaced it for me, they put a PCI card in it and that didn' work again had to take it back so now with this new height control program I'm about ready to take a hammer to it.

Well again thanks for the help, now I can get back to the car.
