need help w/pricing

Post by metalworxfabricators »

I was asked to cut some parts for this fellow. They are small T shaped 3/16" HR parts roughly 2 5/8"x 2 1/2" overall. The customer will supply the material and all I have to do is cut them out and box them up. The customer will grind the dross at assembly. Just looking for some feedback regarding pricing.

Thanks in advance,
Randy

You have to consider the overall time loading and unloading the table, then the time of cutting and figure in your costs such as consumables, electricity etc. Generally we used to figure those things by the inch. It depends on whether your cutting program can tell you total inches or not.
