3d drawings?

How are you guys doing 3d drawings for approvals? I have been asked to give a quote on some benches and have to turn in some 3d renderings for approval. So what do the pros use? I have done some Autocad but that was a few years ago now.

I like to draw 3D in autocad (because I have some 2D to 3D projection macros)

but once I have a 3D model I really like how google sketchup works to make presentation graphics
