You seem to possess a great deal of artistic talent, engineering knowledge & the ability to make it work.

Not to mention a heck of an imagination . . .

So I am curious as to your background. Are you and engineer, an artist or just a really creative guy?

I'm sitting here thinking "how did he come up with that?" :)

Thanks Steve that?s nice of you to say. My day job for the last 30 years, until my retirement 4 or so years ago, was as Chief Technical Officer (CTO) or at least that?s what I called myself. The truth is I was the computer guy and did everything from crawling under desks to reconnect computer cables accidently kicked out to writing code. But before that I worked the oil fields of Long Beach CA it's there I developed a love for working with my hands. I started my retirement working with ceramics after my wife gave me potter's wheel for Christmas, but quickly got tired of making bowls and mugs and then found metal and found it suits me. As far as the "Tower Crane Monitor Holder" goes it was my 4th version of a monitor holder, the first used ropes, pulleys, and counterweights that hung from ceiling raters, not pretty but it worked.
