Ford F 250 Bumper

Post by SCHIDTHEAD »

built in 3 CNC cut pcs. and fits like it was OEM. I drew in 10 different air damn designs in the file...this guy liked this design--though not my favorite...Have four 4 in LED lights 2-driving and 2-spot lights to go in the cans. Bout an hour welding left and should be to powder coat by mid week.

Very impressive. Just curious, in the ballpark, what do you sell this for? Do you have your costs down to a science and give a set price up front or do you bill it out with detailed T&M with a deposit?

Yes sir...I will sell the complete file including bumper (3 piece cut--top,mid,lower) mounting plates, gussets, full shackle plates, design layout and mounting plans in CAD .dxf format and bend angles for $150--this bumper sold for 8x that with the receiver and brush bar. The bumper will be blank you add your own air dams, light holes or patterns for customizing. File has 1/8" notches in the cut lines to match the break lines & keep your lines straight. When done right, all lines match perfectly. 3 horizontal face welds, build the mounts and chaah...ching.

Just the bumper skin with bend angles for $80 you design the mounting.

This is patterned off of a 2002 Ford F-250 though I beleive will fit '99 to 2003

As much as I would like to share my custom files for free, as a full time business owner, I cant. I invest a lot of CAD time (and in this case measuring and a prototype build) into all of my designs to make sure they work plasma friendly and cut ready the first time for me.

Feel free to let me know if you would like to have it, I can accept Paypal or CC

Nice. I have had people ask about bumpers like that, but never knew where to begin. What material thickness do you use?

Just the bumper will run between $800 to $1,250 depending on additions. My pricing is estimated from the set base bumper price of $8, adding estimated CAD, cut time, labor and materials for any additions. Any custom cutting I do on any job--key word custom cutting--I require 65% down

This one is built out of 10 ga. and is very rigid and heavy. 7 ga. could be used if you're in deer country or dont mind the additional weight.

Thanks for all the follow-up responses from the OP. Great Job on the design. If you have completed/installed pics please share; I'm sure everyone would like to see the final result.

That is a sweet looking bumper! Ive been meaning to get as far as just taking my bumpers off of the F-150 for a day just so I could get the mounting plates figured out!

Great Job, Glad to see people are making the money.
