Help "filling" in circle....in Corel

Post by dunnmfg »

landry.dxf
Hello,

I have his sign I made off a file that is on here for my bro-in-law who just lost his bird dog. I am trying to get the blue part to be "welded" into the grey part. I want it to be solid and not drop out and have the half moon in it. Can anyone explain how to do this in Corel?

Is this what you were wanting?

If so, the weld function isn't going to work because you have three different pieces you are wanting to weld. The main large circle in the back, the square piece that is cut out for the Landry and the date below, and then the piece I assume you are trying to weld which has the rounded ends.

What I ended up doing was taking the square piece that has the Landry and Date on it, breaking it in half, then joining the top and bottom of each end to form the curve of the top piece, then deleting the top piece.

Hope this helps. If it is not what you are looking for then let me know and we can work it out.
