Those look great! I see you’ve done the front bumper differently than my original design and some have only 4 slots in the grills… can I ask why the changes?

Nor sure why I changed the front bumper but I have 2 sizes of Jeep and the slots got a little to close together in the smaller one. The big one is 9 in.long and the small one is 85% of large.

Well Tom it's not only boys. We have a number of grands and each one gets to choose a size and color. Hence the smaller pink ones. The youngest grand daughter is 4 and had to have a pink one

I get the wheels from Amazon. I've mounted a router on my lathe and put a bunch of wheels on a mandrel to machine the wheels to size. It also gives them a wider flat more realistic tread.

They are pretty cool. Thinking of making one for a buddy who is general foreman at a large sheet metal shop here in town so that he can put his business cards on one for the front office

Allan - you've got a tremendous amount of patience to see that project thru! Lot's of tedious work, and your results turned out great.
Very impressive indeed.
