Pretty cool! I suspect this could be adapted to any table, is there a manual on/off switch for those who cannot control it through software?

The only problem with a laser alignment system on a plaz table is the smoke / dirty water splashing back and messing up the focus. You need to offer plastic caps for covers when not in use.. I need to change mine out "again" others have posted on the forum that a green laser is better for visibility..

If you look at the pics, it's run with AA batteries and there is a switch on the battery case. It doesn't connect to the table wiring.

This is a nice looking setup. Is it only offered for machine torches, or is there a version for hand torches mounted to the cnc plasma table?

Thanks,
David

The dot laser has a x2 AA battery holder but the line lasers are too powerful for AA batteries and are run on a standard DC adaptor. We dont make these for hand torches because we dont integrate hand torches like all mfgs but one. Apologize to the owners that use hand torches.

Thanks for your reply. I own a Plasmacam which will accept either hand torch or machine torch. I happen to use the hand torch and that is why I was asking. I know that some of the Langmuir tables have mounts for hand torches, and I expect some of the others may as well. In any case, you have come up with a great idea and I expect it could be easily adapted to the hand torch mounts.
