With that file open, select it and press C to copy it. Click somewhere for the copy from point and then right click to cancel the copy tool. Create a new file and press P for paste, click somewhere for the paste to point and you'll have it in a new file. Save that file and if you want to remove it from the other file, open that one, select, and delete it.

Or save using different names, then open each saved file individually and delete the unwanted projects.

Say you have a file with a car, a boat a plane, a building and a flower in the same file.

You can save space by individually saving these drawings as separate files, OR you can simply save the set as five different names.

car.cpm
plane.pcm
boat.pcm
building.pcm
flower.pcm

The duplicate files make for larger files to store, but they also give you a backup of the original file, should you modify one of the shapes in the file under it's name.

I wish files could be stored with BETA words to find them. For example, you have a Corvette, a Chevelle, a Pinto and a Volkswagen. It would be nice to add BETA words to each file, so they could more easily be found. Maybe there is some way to do this already?
