new software

Post by kingfishmetalworks »

Hey Yaw
I have a torchmate 2 table and i am looking for another CAD/DXF software. the software that i bought from torchmate is very unstable and expensive to upgrade. I do all of my art work in Illustrator. I am been exporting EPS files into the torchmate CAD software and exporting from that into their driver software. I am open to any ideas you may have.
thanks

check out draft sight its free and runs like autocad. I use tm cad for most of my design but I use draft sight for the technical stuff like brackets and such. I have also used corel draw and photoshop elements. Hope this helps.

Turbo Cad is what I use mostly. The wife uses Corel, but I haven't mastered it yet.
