Post by rkeytek »

Found out my wife is pregnant, I cut this as practice and will add in the babies birth info when he/she is born.

Congrats!!!

Don't cut anything permanent into the sign. Just a couple of holes to hang another one from, with the info.

Then you can hand the info-signs in the bedrooms as the kids come along, and rent out the sign in the meantime. ;)

Thank you so much. I just cut this one out and added the name plate to the bottom. I cropped the butterfly that someone posted for desk name plates and added it here. Turned out great. I am sure they will be super happy when it arrives for their front yard. I had a drop out on the 0 and don't like the font, but I am still learning.

Are we in September all ready, or is the date on the plate when your wife is going to have the baby?

I wish we were in September already. The baby came way early, and I had to recut it. It isn't for me, but for some friends. If my wife were pregnent we would have some serious problems, because I am not married yet.

Hey RC
At least you didn't have to re-cut the hole piece just the tag. Sorry for the mistake on whose baby it was. I just caught the date on the tag. I too wished it was September, it would be starting to get cooler and that means it time to start the fall project's. Anyway nice job on the project.

Not a problem. This one came early and my sister in law was just put on bed rest today. They want her to keep the twins in for a couple more weeks. I guess I have a couple more to cut soon. The tag is definitly the way to go. Lets the parents use the tag as they see fit. The parents of Harper are planning on letting the stork live in the garden after its front yard duties are complete.

So far everyone loves the designs that come from this forum.

Thanks for the file. I, too, had twins, a boy and a girl. At the time was a 5% chance of one of each. Amazing to watch them grow at different levels. They're 26 now! Congrats!

Thanks, I am playing with the file to try and add another baby to it, I would like to cut it and hang it in their room.
Thanks, Metal Lee
