weather vanes

Hi

Is there any one who may have plans for making weather vanes. I have some customers that have been asking for them. Where could I find the parts to make them? I found some cups (half spheres) they were to heavy, it would have taken a motor to get them babes a spinning. Any help would be very much appreciated.
