Hello, Newbie from England

Post by AD80 »

Hi folks,

Newly registered on this forum - it's an absolute goldmine to someone like myself! I'm based in the U.K. and have just recently purchased Swiftcut PRO-3000 with Hypertherm 125.

I'm totally new to this CNC milarky so it's a huge learning curve! New CAD programmes to get to grips with, how to use files, learning the does and dont's etc.

I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions for everyone to answer! :D

Cheers!

Hi, welcome to the forum, that's a nice setup you got there!
I'm originally from Lancashire but moved over to Ireland a few years ago.
It is a fair bit to get into, but all good fun or mostly!
plenty of help out there, just ask if you get stuck.

Thanks Sean - Yeah it's a great setup, really happy with it. Just need to learn to use it now! It takes getting used to then software, im using solid edge 2d draft, solid works 3D and Inkscape.
