So I have this file that I'm trying to clean up and cut. It needs to be 24" wide X 12" tall. When I scale it, I lose half the linework. Any ideas?
Thank you

Re: Losing lines when scaling
I played with it some and it looks like you have 2 layers and that may screw thing up.
When I tried to enlarge it the layer don't stay together

Thank you, and yeah, that's what I see. It shouldn't be to layers though. But even so, I've no clue how to merge them.
Anyone know how that can be done?
Thanks in advance

Try this and see if it works for you. It's 24" wide but I kept it uniform instead of distorting it and the height came out around 17". If you want me to change it just let me know and I will repost the file.

Re: Losing lines when scaling
Just saw this post, glad Larry could help you out!! When scaling make sure all lines are on the same layer and polyline them before scaling them up or down, that way you are scaling an entire entity instead of a cluster of smaller entities. If your lines aren't connected, you are just scalin up a gap...

Glad I could be of some help. If and when you need help just give a holler and I'm sure someone will answer. I've been working with CNCs and graphics programs since the mid '80s and I still get stuck sometimes.9er wrote:Wow, thanks Larry83301
