DTHC Off code doesn't seem to work

Postby Econdron » Tue Jul 11, 2017 1:43 pm

So I incorporate a rule in Sheetcam to turn the DTHC Off 0.25" before end of cut not including lead out. Right at that mark, there's an S10 command in the G-Code which turns the DTHC off but it also momentarily stops the torch. The DTCH usually turns back on before the end of the cut. The DTHC could just be stopping because the velocity change is kicking in the VAD, I'm not sure. Any advice on this one? Running Command CNC with CandCNC controls. The post processor I'm using is Rev23.

First of all and S10 code won't do squat in CommandCNC. Its an M67 or M68 with the parameters . If you get the correct toolsets the codes for the DTHC on/off are there. Its also covered in the Addendum of the DTHCIV manual for CommandCNC.

Ah I was using the wrong toolset apparently. I just used what came pre-loaded. But I did find the correct one. Thanks for that!
