Snow Blower Skids/Feet

New house with gravel drive. Original skids kept digging in. Simple design but works like a charm. Made out of 1/4".

Comparison to factory skids.

Thanks for sharing I think, while I was looking at you picture thinking how cool that is ; looked out and could see my lovly bride behind my snow blower with one rotor turning. While knocking the piece out found I indeed need a new foot Im on it.

Looks good! Glad it sparked some interest for you. I'm sure your new ones will last much longer than the originals.
I kept getting gravel wedging under the impeller and locking it up. Takes a hammer and chisel most times to knock it out. Have had none of that since the new shoes went on. I have mine set about 1-1/2" high.
