Nice work. Just curious, was the car one you wrecked? Just wondering why he converted it upside down. We try to keep all our stuff shiny side up here in Texas...... ;-)

Either you flipped the picture, or the admin did. It was upside down when I was looking at it Sunday night. The badge wasn't, just the car.

Cmon by. Where are you located? Guessing eastern New Mexico somewhere. Carlsbad, artesia, or???

Hey BlackandTan, not sure what you mean by "engine tooling...
If you mean the back plate, I did it with a 2" circular disk (Scotchbrite) on my drill press.

Thats what i was talking about. It looks like you got it very even. I would like to figure out how to do that on the table mounting a die grinder on it. But I would not have a clue how to do the g code.

I would not have any clue either... On the drill press just ran it slow speed and took my time tying to center each overlap of the disk. I thought about trying to make a jig, but couldn't figure it out for the oval shape :?
