Any one using a 6'x12' dynatorch?
Curious as to the cut quality of the larger machines.
I'm very seriously thinking of selling my 1250 powered single side drive 5'x10' machine to a 6'x12'.
Thinking of a 6'x12' with a scribe and new powermax 85 and possibly the pipe cutter.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
Chris

I run a 5x10 XLR8 table. No complaints as far as table goes. Any cut quality issues has been directly related to the plasma. Except I had the bolts on the slave motor bracket come loose once, took a little bit to figure out where the problem was.

Well it's official..
I've got a 6'x12' xls on order
tube cutter
engraver
new powermax 85 to top it all off.
I also ordered a spare set of the torch mounts to put a drill on to jewel(engine turn) sheets of aluminum or stainless.
Now for the fun part, paying for it all..

Pardon my ignorance but why do you need a 6 x 12 table? Are 6 x 12 sheets of steel readily available? I realize they have tables up to 40' long (and probably larger) in factories and large fab shops but have never seen any steel larger than 5 x 10. What do use the table for? Thank you for the info as I have always kinda wondered what guys use these larger tables for.

Re: 5'x10' or 6'x12'?
Most of the time I dont need that big of a table. Most of the time I can get by with the 5'x10' table.
I have one job that I do that if I use a 6' wide sheet it minimizes the waste that I have.
I was still on the fence with jumping up in size but I can still get the artsy performance with this size so I went for it.
