Scribe?

Post by cstroke »

Any one using the air scribe from dynatorch?
Could you post up some pics of work you've done?

I'm in the market for a new table and I've narrowed it to two.
Already familiar with the dynatorch but also looking at the ldr.
Looking at a 5x10 or a 6x12 with scribe and possibly a pipe cutter.

Thanks
Chris

I was initially going to buy the scribe from them when I ordered my table however Rick talked me out of it. Said it wasn't really designed to do art work. Regretting not getting it now. Check out what Going Custom is doing with his scribe (not a Dynatorch though). He is doing exactly what I was wanting to do. He said so far he has good success with his setup.

there is a new sub-forum in plasmaspider that might give you some ideas
buying one off air slides and cheap air control valves on ebay gets the cost way under what you can buy a kit from the vendors
not knocking any vendor, they have to buy new air slides at new air slide cost
we get to buy new air slides for one off builds

I want one but can't afford it right now. I'm keeping my eye on the scribe section for when someone makes a dynatorch one.
