my solution for spark reduction

Post by btburn »

I have my machine in my crowded garage /shop. I ordered some high temp 1/8" silicone sheet and made a bracket to attach them to the back of my gantry using some high tech clip mechanisms. It keeps the sparks and dust to one side of the garage and table. I might add some small pieces to the sides to keep a little more off the belts.

I have a water table, it's just low because it was -4 outside, a little low to run the hose and too lazy to fill the bucket 6 times or more. Much of that is steam because of the temperature.
