Shelf Bracket

Post by hvaccer »

I thought I could handle drawing this part to help a friend out with his project but I am stuck. Can anyone help me out here? Willing to pay for your time.

Here's a try at just doing a Bezier path over the outline in Inkscape. It's not perfect, and not to scale since we don't know the exact size, but it's a start.

Thanks, I guess I should give dimensions too eh? Give me a minute and I'll try to post a better picture with the dimensions.

Just take the drawings that have been posted, and scale one of them accordingly.

Love the mechanical prints in the background, I owned an HVAC contracting biz for 20 years. Glad to have retired! :-P

Post some dimensions and I'm sure I or someone can draw it from scratch in a few minutes or you can try to scale one of the previous traces.

Here's a couple images with dimensions on them. The part that I can't draw on my program is the hooks. They need to be pretty exact. The holes shown on here are no big deal, I can add them easily.
rdj357, I'm a mechanical contractor, I have a Vicon table that works great for duct work and the occasional picture here and there but I'm very limited on my drafting skills to draw this. Unfortunately I'm committed at this point, I thought this would be simpler than it's turning out to be.

The forum has a pretty limited setting on the size of the pics. If you want to email it to me at info@fourninetycreations.com I'll draw it up and send it back to you.

Yeah, once you've plugged in a job and stacked fittings out the door in a third the time of hand layout there's no going back!

Oh, I'm not sure how the Vicon pulls in the parts to cut. Does it do the kerf offset or do you need me to make the toolpaths? If so, send me the kerf
