Diamond Reo truck

Post by lazybear »

Does anyone happen to have a file similar to this Diamond Reo truck? A friend's son just got one as a project and I'd like to make this as a birthday gift. Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks!

I use Plasmacam DesignEdge for all my files. I've said this time and time again, but anyone thinking there is a software that magically makes cut ready dxf files is kidding themselves. Designedge does have an auto trace function, but I find it pretty useless unless you have a very crisp vector image (black and white works best) to start with. I manually trace 99% of my files, literally tracing out the entire image with lines and arcs until I get a finished product that I'm happy with and that is cut ready. The tracing part is not very hard, just time consuming. It's knowing how to make it cut ready that is learned over time and from just doing it over and over.
