Saving a dxf from plasma spider

Postby jspake » Wed Jun 13, 2018 8:04 am

Every time I try to open a dxf it opens in autocad inventor... I haven’t had that much experience with auto cad because I just downloaded it. Is there a way to just save a file to import into my plasmacam software? It used to pop up and say it can’t open and a copy of it would be in my downloads.

Thanks!!

Open plasmacam first then go to file, import and see if that works

Click on the link and the file downloads to your "Downloads" folder.

Otherwise right click on the link and choose "Save Link As", then you can select the folder where you want to file to download to.

Open PC, and under the file menu, choose "Import..."

In the popup box, drop down the file type box and select "Autocad DXF files (*.dxf)"

Just tried in PC v3.1 and works perfect.
