International Harvester Collectors
Hello everyone! I was asked by the IH collectors of Iowa (Chapter #5) to cut out a few signs of a logo, but they don't claim to have a digital version of the image large enough for me to clean up with the tools I have. Can anyone help me out? I scanned an image of a small (4in square) magnet I had on my toolbox, but after vectorizing, it is still very dirty, and I fear would take me 8+ hours to clean up and re-trace.
I downloaded inkscape, but haven't figured out how to trace things. Seems to lack intuitiveness of other software (I suppose that is why it is free?).
Thanks!

Re: Asking for help tracing.
Here's a quick trace. I smoothed it some and added the text back in. Maybe it will help. It's NOT cut ready as I didn't stencil anything or know how you intended to cut the final piece.

I pen traced the logo, I'd say use his ^ font and these shapes.

Re: Asking for help tracing.
AWESOME! Thank you both so much! I can for sure utilize both to make something work. I'm fairly skilled in Solidworks/CAD, but when it comes to getting the image ready/imported for CAD, I'm very much a novice.
Thanks so much! I'll post something when I get them made.

Re: Asking for help tracing.
Huge request here -- Would anyone be willing to trace this as well?
I was just informed by the club that they would like the company logo, not the member logo, which is slightly different. Could anyone help? I will try inkscape here again, but I don't know all of the tricks like many of you do!
Thanks!

Re: Asking for help tracing.
It was a pretty easy trace. I assume you didn't need the tiny patent text but you can add that back in fairly easy if need be.
