Does anyone have tips on plasma cutting overhead? I need to cut some bolt holes in my barn structure?

Sounds like a fire. Have a hose near by and a fire watch. As for yourself maybe some leathers, welding cap, and full face helmet and cut away from your self with your arms extended away from your body.

Yep......I have done a lot of overhead cutting in the last 40 years with plasma. Up to 200 amps with a hand torch (definitely full welding leathers!) and to 1000 amps in mechanized applications (cover all skin, 14 shade eye protection, look out for large globs of molten steel!)
