Mach 3 loading g-code

Post by Rileyj »

When I load the G-code the picture doesn't show up. I have followed the manual and clicked "regen tool path", but still NOTHING. HELP please :?: I'm very new to this.

here is a guess look under configure the tool path this shows info on the display settings. Look at the color setting for (background and material) is the are the same (red green and blue color numbers) you will not be able to see it. I have no idea how they could have changed. Mine normally are background are all 0's and material is red 0 green 0.1 and blue 0.1. For the fun of it hit run and see if the DRO's show movement your scale may be way off for the drawing and it may be to small to see???

Oddly enough I had this happen to me today, I just regenerated the .tap file with another name like putting a letter in the name (XXXX B1) .
I also have a habit of going to Mach and loading a file I just created to see how it looks before I exit SheetCam. That way I catch a mix-up and can redo it right then not after I go to the shop.
