What did you end up using inside the walls as insulation? Is that just OSB or expanding foam, kind of hard to tell from pics?

Great looking oven... To each his own, and certainly I am biased but I prefer my roll in / flat bottom to the idea of having the oven on wheels. There are pro's and con's to each. I don't see the need to move the oven... ... and I have a rack that I hang my projects from, apply the powder coat and then wheel the rack right in to the oven. When the baking portion is over and done with, I merely roll out the rack.

Thanks for the images on the application booth. You must have been reading my mind. I've got a new shop underway and one of the items I want to built is a place to apply the powder coats. Without a booth the powder goes everywhere.

Thx

Nice Job!
Can I just ask what the total wattage of the elements are?
Do you find them about right for that size of oven?
Thanks
Sean

Do you mind sharing your cost on your oven build? There is an used oven nearby for sale that is the same deminsions as yours. It is several years old and has been setting outside in the weather for a year or so. The current owner has never fired it up but says he will guaranty that it works for $1500 and will sell at $1000 without the guaranty.

Have you calculated a cost per hour for your oven yet . . .?

I have not but it doesn't it doesn't cost that much to run. I don't run it all day but when i do run it its for a few hours at a time. I try to get 5 or 6 pieces lined up to powder coat at one time so i am not just doing one item at a time.
