Steel F-x + CNC water table

I know this is probably a stupid question, but shop space is limited and winter is coming. I can't exactly stand outside with a hose or bucket of water to play with the steel f-x stuff. Can I do it on my cnc water table? I just want to be sure if I color a part and rinse it off that cutting on the table with the water that had acid in it won't create any negative side affects.
