Just wondering if there is anything I can look for that could be causing the Shorted torch error code(85psi and red error led) on a Thermal Dynamics CutMaster 152.
I have swapped the consumables, disassembled the torch and cleaned it, checked the switches in torch. I checked the continuity in all the connectors back to the plasma cutter end. All were ok, no breaks or shorts.
The manual says other than shorted torch or bad consumables, it could be power supply problem and to take it to a repair facility.
Anything I can look for?
Thanks for your help, Mark

Re: Thermal Dynamics CutMaster 152 error
Anyway you can try a hand torch on it? Pretty much tell you if it's a power supply issue, if it does the same thing..It could even be a SL-40 torch to test it/. so a sl-40/Sl-60-sl-100 hand torch would work..Post your area, and maybe somebody is close by with a Thermal torch..
