5x5 table 45 or 65

Post by SolarImages »

So i am torn on the plasma cutter i need for my table i nothing thicker than 1/2" and normally it will be around 20mm I am purchasing a Candcnc controller soon and need to upgrade my plasma torch as well i was thinking a hypertherm 45 but all i see it seems are 65's in use. I will be cutting about 5 to 6 hours a day. I think the 45 will be fine just want to make sure before i buy. thank you!

I assume that was a typo 2.0mm not 20mm. I would go for the 65 that would give you more flexibility later. If down the road you need more amps it easier to turn a knob then buying another cutter.
