Retro fitting C&G Challenger drive motors
We are having issues with our C&G challenger drive motors. They are not lasting more than a couple of years and since they stopped manufacturing a burn table with this drive motor, the price for these motors have sky-rocketed. We are looking for a way to retro fit these motors. It is a single side drive. Part number of the motor is 33DCMT2202. It also has Burny 3 controller. We are looking to retro fit this with off the shelf products if possible.

Likely the best bet is to contact Burny directly.....as they can steer you towards compatible drive motors. Another good source would be system integrators that offer upgrade packages for older technology machines. You can find a good link to system integrators on the www.hypertherm.com website, here is the link: http://www.hypertherm.com/en-us/Product ... rators.jsp
