1/2" Plate Settings

Ive never cut anything above 1/4" and I was curious if anyone would mind sharing their setting's for cutting some holes in some 1/2" plate using a hypertherm 65

Use the manual setting but I up the volts in mach 3 about 4-6 above recommended manual setting. Also unless these have to be very precise you'll have to be aware of the kerfs. I like to cut a couple of test holes in thin scrap before using more expensive and thicker stuff. If they have to be precision holes I cut a little smaller the take to my drill press for final hole size.
