Hi folks first post but been lurking for awhile, I'm putting together a homemade plasma table and bought a new Hypertherm 45 xp with machine torch.
I recently purchased a cpc cable for the machine from a third party on fleabay. When the cable arrived I noticed the pinout/color was different than stated in the Hypertherm manual. Green/black is 3/4, red/black is 14/12, white/black is 6/5. Why would they do this? Is this color/pinout used for a different model? The cable should be usable but if someone hooked this up assuming it was wired according to Hypertherm it could damage the cutter or THC couldn't it?

Re: Hypertherm cpc cable
When you save money you have trade offs, the main thing is to use the pin numbers as your references and where they go.
Pins 3 and 4 are to fire the torch pin 6 is the + output from the voltage divider and 5 is the negative to a THC. And 12,14 are for the signal there is an arc. These are in the Manual (from my 65 manual)
