Powermax 105 Torch in Powermax 45XP

It's not reasonable to pull out my PM105 and install a PM45XP for daily operation. I only have one torch station on my gantry and switching torches and cables is not easy. However, if the PM105 torch will plug into the PM45XP and I can use it for marking, I'll buy one. What say you Jim Colt?

The Powermax105 torch is the same Duramax torch that can be used on the Powermax45 XP, Powermax65, Powermax85. Cut quality and consumable life is the same....based on the power level of each system.

So I can use my PM105 torch in the PM45XP and get the marking capability I'm looking for?

Yes.....it is the same torch, same consumables. Obviously use the cut charts for the 45 XP. The Marking only works on the 45 XP because the Power supply can operate down to 10 amps (the 105 has a minimum of 25 or 30) and the air flow auto corrects when you install the marking nozzle, set the mode switch and amperage.
